I recently took this for a photo contest over at Phototakers. The contest was to take a photo where the color red stands out in the photograph. I thought this photo would do pretty good in the competition. That was, until I saw the rest of the competition. There were at least three others that just blew my mind. Regardless, the main reason I like to participate in this competition, is to get out of my typical photography habits. I guess you could call it "thinking out of the box" photography. This photo came in 4th place overall in the contest This photo was taken near down town Tucson . This was the side of a hispanic bar called Toma, which is next to El Charro, one of the best mexican restaurants in Tucson, in my opinion.
